La classe 3 de l'automne...

Last Tuesday, we started off the lesson by checking out the weird and wonderful (well, ok, just weird) vocab that we had seen in the previous week. Then I asked you to introduce yourselves to Rebecca and Richard, and then they were interrogated through the questionnaire we had used in the first lesson.
After this, we started talking a little bit about the Imperfect tense (expressing past): I described how it’s formed, and how we use it in French:

- to express duration in the past (eg: I was doing)
- to describe things (eg: it was raining)
- to express a habit in the past (eg: I used to do)

We then started to metnion things that you used to do, but do not do anymore:

Je parlais espagnol (maintenant je ne parle plus espagnol)

LES DEVOIRS
Make sentences with the imperfect using the phrases indicated on the sheet.

(You will notice there is no vocab this week... erm... I have lost it - not sure how! - so apologies about this!)
